Hi Guys,

Finally got around to joining the club/forum. Recently sold my 991.1 C2S and picked up a 991.1 GTS.

Looking forward to joining some of you at various events throughout 2018.

Cheers
Andy

Welcome Andy, although I am new too! Your car looks very nice - any chance of more photos and of your previous CS2?

Welcome to the Club and 991 Forum, Andy. You have chosen a lovely model there and absolutely the right colour too! [:)]

I hope you enjoy your PCGB membership and that you will make full use its facilities and this Forum, as there's a mine of useful information to be found here.
Regards,

Clive

Welcome & great choice of car (no bias here!!). Lots of club related stuff for you to enjoy the GTS.

Congrats on the 991.1 GTS, Andy! [:)]

Am looking forward to getting back into a 911 myself. Previously had a 991.1 C2 and now have a new Carrera T on order... [:D]

Completely agree Simon. Lovely cars Andy, thanks for the photos. My preference is the C2S (for obvious reasons!) but they both look great! There aren't many cars that look good in white but the 911 certainly does and with the black wheels too.

+1. In over 50 years of 911 history, this iconic sports car has appeared in a dazzling array of colours, but white has been a classic and timeless choice throughout. [:)]

Many years ago I had a new 205GTI in white as a company car. When I turned up at the office, my MD (broad Yorkshireman) said "after what we paid for that car at least they could have bl**dy painted it!" It too looked good in white but there certainly aren't many other cars......but then there aren't many cars that look as good as a Porsche anyway.

Agreed. My only white car so far was a 1984 BMW 316. [:)]

And the 205 GTi was a classic little hot hatch. I went for a Ford Fiesta XR2, in black. Followed by a Mark II Golf GTi, in metallic blue.

Disappointingly no - Rhodium Silver.

We need a pic of Turbo S and Macan S together! [;)]

I'm not sure we have one. Another task for the better weather.[;)]
