The mystery continues

Hi all Ref C2S gen 1
I posted a question a few months back regarding a knocking noise from the front end but no obvious fault or wear found at my local specialist. The noise seems to come from the front when the car goes over a speed hump or turning onto a low kerb etc. Paragon have looked at all parts that may have an issue but all ok. Any thoughts on something loose behind the trim in the luggage compartment. The battery, tool kit etc all in place and secure...thanks
.

Hi,
I have sympathy with your predicament. It's frustrating when the experts can't work it out either. Just out of interest, have you seen this video? Different model, I know, but just shows you how even the experts can miss things:

Are you sure its not the front lower trailing arm? As sounds very similar to what mine was like and changed that and all good

Have you checked the bulkhead compartment, where the battery is located - everything secure in there?

Hi quick update on the noise, the knocking had got progressively worse over last few months. Recent visit to one of the recommended geometry specialists revealed worn drop links and bushes on the roll bar. Full alignment and a few hours tweaking has transformed the car.

Glad to hear it’s sorted [:)]
