Feb 10th Gibson Motorsport visit.

[font="arial, sans-serif"]We had a great uptake for this at our January Club night, proving once again the benefits of attending our meetings if you want to get the first bite of the cherry for pre-register events.[/font]

[font="arial, sans-serif"]30 lucky R3 members have been invited by Paul & Dan Gibson of Gibson Motorsport to spend a few hours with them at their race HQ in Darlington. Obviously numbers are restricted due to time and space. There are now only several places left for our members, so be quick to get your name on the list.[/font]

[font="arial, sans-serif"]The itinerary will roughly consist of splitting the group in two, half will spend around two hours with Dan looking around their workshops, vehicle sales and of course allowing us full access to their race cars, while the other half will get to try their hand on their fantastic racing simulator.[/font]

[font="arial, sans-serif"]After light refreshments the groups will then swap, so that no one misses out at what appeals to them most.[/font]

[font="arial, sans-serif"]I am sure you will agree it is an exciting opportunity and not every day you get access to a real race team prior to their race season preparations.[/font]

This event is now fully booked. Unfortunately if you haven't yet added your name to the list either at club night or here on the forum sadly it is now over subscribed, although we have asked if it would be possible to run a second event in the near future due to the massive amount of interest.

Well done Greg and Debs for finding another gem of an event......what an insight into a racing team and quite technical in parts.

The event just got better as the day progressed and the race simulator is a riot of fun!

Needless to say everyone was engrossed in what Paul Gibson had to say and no one left early!

This event may prove hard to top but we have faith!!
