R21 visit to Prodrive - 11th March 2018
The Prodrive visit is always popular, if you have not been before it's well worth a look. There are the rally and race cars that they have been involved with plus all of the development work that they do for other manufacturers.

Full details and costs will be given in the next couple of weeks.

If you would like to attend please email r21@porscheclubgb.com with your name and how many people will be attending.

Hi all,

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the PRODRIVE factory you see from the M40?

I am organising a trip to visit the Prodrive factory on Sunday 11th March. Please see there website for full details on Prodrive:http://www.prodrive.com

The tour will begin a look around the historic collection and then we go in to the factory and look at all the different sections of the Prodrive business. This includes the area where the racing Aston martins are built and fettled for racing around the globe.

This excellent and informative tour will begin at 11am and will take approximately two hours. The cost is £20 per person (Please bring cash on the day) and coffee/Tea and biscuits are served on arrival and the maximum number of people for this tour is 35.

To be put on the list please email r21@porscheclubgb.com

Prodrive cars

1984 Porsche 911 SC RS
The SC RS was the first model designed and built by Prodrive to compete in the European and Middle East Rally Championships between 1984 and 1987.

1996 Subaru Impreza Group A
This was the car that the legendary Colin McCrae drove to victory in the 1996 Rallye Catalunya.

2004 BAR 060
Back in 2001, the BAR Formula 1 team was still searching for success, so turned to the experts at Prodrive to help change its fortune. In 2004, the hard work paid off when Jenson Button drove the car to third place in the driver's championship.

2016 Aston Martin Vantage GTE
Prodrive has run the Aston Martin racing team since 2004 and Vantage GTE has been successfully competing in the World Endurance Championship.
