WELSH WEEKEND- 16-18 March 2018
This is the first official Macan Register event of the New Year. Based at The Metropole Hotel at Llandrindod Wells in Mid Wales, we have planned two days of driving the best of the scenic routes in the area including the Elan Valley, Devil's Bridge and the Beacon Beacons. There will be ample opportunity for coffee stops, a chance to stretch the legs and the odd place of interest to visit. The venue is a first rate hotel used extensively by the Porsche club other registers and offers a great three course evening meal with multi choice menu. We will meet together for dinner on the Friday evening, have a full day out on the Saturday and finish after a light lunch on Sunday at a convenient point for homeward travel.
The trip is limited to twelve cars, so for more information and booking details please email me at macan@porscheclubgb.com
Many thanks,
Mike Allen Macan Register Secretary

Hello Pim,
Thanks for your interest- I'll email you the details.
Regards
Mike Allen

I am guessing we are a bit late but any chance of joining you. We will be picking up our new Macan on 1st March so this would make a great first outing for it.

Hi Helen,
Great to hear from you once again.
Mike is currently away finalising the route in Wales, but I'm sure if you email him direct at macan@porscheclubgb.com he will contact you as soon as he is able.
Kind regards,

Clive

Thanks Clive, booking our room later today really looking forward to the trip and meeting other Macan owners.
Hope weather improves else Looks like we might need some winter wheels.

Great run yesterday - started to get a bit white on top of the Brecon Beacons late afternoon though, with some drifting across the roads.

Complete white-out in Llandrindod Wells this morning, confining us to the hotel all day. Always a silver lining though as a party of gourmets are unable to get through the snow - so we'll snaffle their taster's menu tonight! [8D]

Great driving, excellent route and posh nosh into the bargain- not a bad result for a Macan weekend! [:)]

Regards,

Clive

Just a sprinkling of snow on the mecans this morning url=https://flic.kr/p/22wot1s]

Very enjoyable event and many, many thanks to Mike, Michelle, Adrian and Julie for their hard work in putting this on.

Exciting weekend for the White family all round too. [:)]

With Mum and Dad stranded in Wales, no 1 Son stranded in Bristol, no 2 Daughter stranded in Dublin, it was a good job no 1 Daughter was at home to keep the dogs fed and watered! [:)]
Regards,

Clive
