F/S - WINTER TYRES/WHEELS FOR BOXSTER/993/964?

For sale - my set of 17" Boxster OEM alloys with Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme tyres, which I used briefly on the 993. There were no problems with them in terms of grip or fit, but I quickly decided I didn't want to ruin a mint car with the winter salt. The car was parked up for the winter months, and the winter wheels came off and have been correctly stored flat in a dark place.

The rims are 986 type "Turbo Twists" (or whatever the correct name is) in sound condition and look fine at a glance, but there are minor scratches and some corrosion around the valve seats, so they would benefit from a refurb, but it seems a waste of money on winter wheels. The sizes are Front 7 55 and Rear 8.5 50. Tyres are Wintrac Xtreme (as homologated by Porsche for the 993), and sizes are Front 205/50R17 93V M+S, Rear 255/40R17 98W M+S. Might also fit a 964?

The tyres have loads of tread. I haven't measured the depths but can do so if you're interested. I did take some pics a while ago which show the tread so will post these if I can track them down. Sensible offers please. Located here in sunny South Lanarkshire!

I'm open to offers but say £400. It's a good bit less than I paid for them, but there's no point in their sitting in the garage when they can benefit a Club member.

Now some pics - evidently not taken today!
