Happy New Year!
We would like to get a better idea of how many R15 members visit the forum.  Could you post below stating how often you look in?
Thank you

Hi Stan.  I don't have you down on my R15 membership list.  Do you get our newsletters?

    Indeed!
Eventually I want to get more of our members checking in here so that we can post event info and, more importantly, late event change info on here when it doesn't warrant a full blown newsletter.  We can also get more discussion and feedback.  I have included a link to this thread in the Jan newsletter going out soon.  We do mention it at most meetings but, of course, that only reaches a small percentage.

Although not a 'real' member of the R15 I do feel it is closer to me than the Dorset group so have subscribed to the posts. I do look in every week but find little of interest to me in general. I own an '82 SC and very little chatter is about older 911 cars and I, therefore, rely on other forums for information and advice/help about my car. It is disappointing in some ways and has me questioning my membership of PCGB and its value for money. Perhaps now that my car is much more 'roadworthy' I will be able to attend more events and judge the membership value at the end of the year.

Just once to post a question.

To be honest think it would help to inform members (particularly new ones) a bit more on how this Forum works. Little tips like suggesting they click the Subscribe button at the top of the R15 forum page (https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tt.aspx?forumid=62) will allow them to receive notifications and help propulsion.
Would assume this is why some of the replies above are 'Daily' - to check for any updates on threads, when they could just be notified.

Equally, and to say in the nicest possible way, be great to update some of the thread information. i.e. Williams Crawford and SCS Honiton should really be on here: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=316421

    Hi Ed,
Yes, some of the old threads could do with updating.  What with running the Region and being Admin on here (and having a life too) it's not always the top of the list!  The "Daily" visitors are not just visitors to R15 but to the forum in general.  The Admin team are currently looking at a "user guide" to help members get the best out of the forum (and the website as a whole).  Thanks for your input and feedback.
PS - I have updated the thread you quoted with SCS and WC

    Thanks Alan
It’s clear there is a lot of organisation involved with R15.
Just wanted to highlight it’s the simple things like this that can easily increase interactivity.
What may seem obvious to regulars, can easily be a minefield for newbies - just like using a Mercedes SatNav ;-)
