    Hi Ross

Are you sure its a mechanical knock and not a misfire/fuelling issue?

    Hi Ross,

I can’t say that I recognise the symptom you describe as being normal, but it’s difficult to tell from just a description. Do you still get the knock when you dip the clutch? If not then the problem most probably resides in the transmission.

Best to get it checked out by your specialist ASAP as they will be able to examine the car more thoroughly.

Hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

    Jeff
