The owner was contacted by the police last night and is over the moon to find his car!
See Impact Bumpers for update and full story!

Just reported the car to our local Police so they are aware

And checked on DVLA and apparently the tax and MOT are up to date

Very strange

Ive put a link on Impact Bumpers, you never know, someone may recognise it.

quite possible stolen and owner unaware, on holiday perhaps so not reported?

Someone must know/owe this car, needs to be dealt with before it and/or other bits go missing.

I live literally 5 minutes away and can help out if required

What a stunning colour. Let's hope the owner can be found quickly. A big well done to the OP for highlighting this. I'd hope the same would happen if my car had been pinched.

It's still there this morning...

Could it be registered with another club (god forbid)? Any ideas anyone?

One thing I want to do is put a tarpaulin or a cover over the roof but I checked last night and don't have anything to hand

@Beaky - do you have something we could use?

If not I'll go and get something today as I'm worried about it

I've no connection with this at all but just wanted to say well done chaps for taking so much interest and trouble.

I hope the owner appreciates it..!

Jeff

I've noticed on Facebook via some trackday forums there's one where people quickly post APBs if they're (mostly motorbikes) car gets stolen. Then goes viral.

If I find I'll send link

Possibly car was in storage and stolen from there? In which case; who knows how long till owner realises!

Here you go. Reported to police as stolen earlier in the week! They shoUldale know about this and will know the owner.

[link]https://isitnicked.com/[/url] and search the registration number. (Can't share the screen shot I've been sent from Facebook)

The moderator at Stolen Cars UK FB - who found the link - has mentioned he can liase with Met direct of you want to pass on the exact location details?

Otherwise call the number on the isitnicke. Com Web site.

Best regards

Neil
