Christmas Dinner Dance and 2018 calendar of events

A great evening at the Saunton Sands hotel last night!  Congratulations to Chris and Jane Rogers for lifting the Member of  the Year award and our thanks to them for all their support and help throughout a busy year.

Thanks to generous donations from Bob Fairchild in the auction and an exceedingly well stocked and up market raffle we raised over £1400 for the Children's Hospices SW.
Thank you all for your generosity.

After all of that the dirty dancing (!) continued into the wee hours.  A report and photographic evidence on the website soon

At this morning's meeting the 2018 events calendar will be released.  More than ever next year - again details will be up on the website soon and in the next newsletter early in the week.

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I'm going.

Well done Alan another super event from the South West team. I though the hotel was looking lovely and it was great to be able to actually see the beach this year. Pity they cant get the food and service right

The Porsches I have enjoyed the most:
997 Turbo Gen 1 Mezger and Manual
997 GT 3 Gen 2 Mezger and Manual
    991 GT 3 DFI, PDK

Thanks Bob for both your comment and contribution to the evening.
Pity you couldn't stay for the meeting as we had a very useful discussion!  We think the service was actually pretty good but just one course out of four let the meal part of the evening down.  Shame as everything else was spot on.  We have had a response to our feedback which I will share with you privately and at the next meeting in January.
