Guildford or Brooklands?

Hi All... newbie Porsche owner near junct8 M25 and looking for a service centre to start a relationship to look after my 991 4GTS. My car is coming up for its 1st MOT and I want a 111 check to check the car and consider extending the warranty.
Any recent experiences gratefully received, thanks.

I've used Guildford for last 13 years for all my 911's & always had good (if not a bit expensive) service. I have bought most of my 911's from them as well so have built up a relationship there, but hopefully they treat everyone the same. They also pick my car up & drop it off which saves me a lot of time. Having said all that a friend of mine uses Brooklands & also says they are very good & cheaper than Guildford, so positives about both but probably not very helpful in making a decision. Good Luck anyway.

Hi there,
I can't comment on Brooklands but do have experience of the Guildford Centre, having bought my original 997 C2S from there and having had a number of services carried out both of that car and my current 991 C2S Cab. I have never had a problem with them and they have always provided good service in terms of MOTs and general maintenance. Thankfully, I have never had to have a major piece of work done there.

Hope this helps and enjoy your car!

Keith

I have used Guildford in the past but have recently moved to Brooklands. Guildford have a nicer environment if you are popping in for coffee, but they charge more for everything. Brooklands adhere to the fixed price servicing costs detailed on the Porsche website whereas Guildford have set their own fixed prices service menu which is higher accross the board.
