Belfast
Amy and myself have made several enquires already and are still waiting for answers from several attractions / hotels.

This is a quick survey to get a feeling for numbers of who would fancy going?

Most likely will be 5 days / 4 nights in the 2nd or 3rd week of September 2018 (probably over a weekend, saving the working folk holidays). Stopping at 2 locations, 2 nights at each (locations tbc but one will surely be Belfast).

This is just a quick straw poll but if you could let me know either through the forum or at Wednesday's meeting (please only put names down if you are seriously interested as the number of interested people could decide or rule out certain venues).

Cheers

Dave

Yes please.

John + Helen

....it would be good for us if it did not conflict with the Goodwood Revival (7 to 9 September)

Us as well :)

Sounds great - unfortunately September isn’t good as we are away from 12th - 26th on holiday then we have a wedding to go to on 29th

The new Porsche Centre Belfast should be open in Titanic quarter by then - bought our 718 Boxster from their current premises & they couldn’t do enough for us

Hi Dave & Amy

Could you please add Catherine and Adrian to the list.

Adrian has not got the hang of the forum yet.

Regads John.

Hi Dave & Amy,

Thanks for looking into this, we're 99% able to come depending on the exact week.

Looking forward to it.

Chris & Lynn

Good Evening All,

Thanks for being so patient whilst Dave and I got the initial bits and bobs sorted.

For those who were not able to make club night last night we have found hotels and finalised dates for the WOTY in September.

Overview is as follows: (all costs based on 2 people sharing)

Thursday 13th Sept

Travel to Belfast - ferry times tbc

Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at the Titanic Hotel @ £188 (upgraded rooms are also an option)

Friday 14th Sept

A day to be tourists in Belfast (or a drive out for those who prefer) - including visit to titanic museum

Bed and Breakfast at the Titanic Hotel @ £178

We are looking at the possibility of arranging a Caleigh for Friday night - looking at gauging interest!

Saturday 15th Sept

Drive to Enniskillen (various stop off points tbc)

Bed & Breakfast at Belmont Court Hotel @ £100 (£25 deposit needed)

This Hotel doesn't have a restaurant but they do have links with local restaurants with discounts and they are in walking distance

Sunday 16th Sept

Drive to Causeway (north coast) (various stop off points tbc)

Visit to the Giants Causeway

Dinner, Bed & breakfast at the Causeway Hotel @ £170 (this inc entry to causeway) (20% deposit needed)

Monday 17th Sept

We are looking at option of a visit to the Carrick-a-rede bridge en route back to the ferry point - again looking at gauging interest.

Travel home - ferry tbc

If you are interested in coming along can you let us know so that I can add you to my mailing list and ensure that you get more info and details of the deposit payments (dates and amounts) - also if you would let us know if you would like tickets for the Titanic museum, are interested in the Caleigh or the visit to the bridge.

We have tried to design the trip so that if you want to just have a few days in Belfast with R3 you could fly in then back home or if you wanted to join us in time for the drives that would work too! I know from speaking with people last night that some are already panning on staying longer and heading into Southern Ireland afterwards!

Any questions just shout (were at the Cayenne Launch tomorrow night (16/03/2018) if you want to speak to us :)

thanks, Amy & dave
