A few taken by the dealer yesterday before it went in for the PDI [:)]

It is getting collected on Monday morning in a covered trailer and being taken to Reep/Swissvax in Knaresborough to have the front end Suntek PPF film fitted and the full Gtechniq Crystal Serum Black applied to the body, wheels, calipers along with the interior and glass treated as well to give a long term protection. The body is also getting Gtechniq EXO Hydrophobic Coating applied to give it extra gloss and dirt repellant capabilities.

Then it will be returned to the dealer to get its final preparation ready for collection next Saturday

Congratulations - it's certainly getting the supercar treatment.
I hope you won't be reluctant to use it after all that detailing treatment! [:D]
Regards,

Clive

Looks beautiful Martin - Michelle will love it!!

She will Peter and an extra surprise for here on Saturday when we go to collect it as she wanted Carmine Red but I told her she was getting Carrara White Metallic as I wasn't paying the extra for the Red :ROFLMAO:

I'll video the moment it's unveiled to see her reaction [;)]

He He - she'll make you pay for that one Martin. Beale's in Kendal have a nice sale in the ladies department right now - as I found out last week! That should help calm her down....

The colour looks similar to Ann-Marie's Melbourne Red 4 series

Very nice Martin - same colour and wheels as our previours SD - the Porsche bootliner you bought will go lovely [:D]
Now that we’ll be heading towards the filthy Winter weather, a nice set of Macan rubber floor mats will do the job just fine :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I still have them for sale if you’re interested.

Car collected this afternoon and it is even better than I remember from our test drives and PEC driving day [:)]

The wife thought she was getting a White car (even though she wanted Carmine Red) and her response was worth the wait (link below) :ROFLMAO:

Also purchased Macan GTS Carmine Red with 21" Turbo Design wheels 20/10/17 to replace Cayman 3.4s and Lexus IS 250 nearly completed first 1000 miles fantastic .Rw

Roger I too have the GTS in Carmine Red, picked mine up back in April and just clocked 8k miles - so just
about bedded in. Fantastic car, you just can’t help but have fun with every drive (excluding the fact you’ll find yourself filling her up far more times than you ever realised...but the exhaust roar echoing off the petrol station roof more than makes up for it). Glad you’re enjoying it. Toby.

Good to see a few more CR GTS cars about. Glad you are both enjoying them [:)]

Currently getting about 21mpg but was told this will increase as the engine beds in and loosens off a bit. I agree the exhaust noise is awesome when setting off (especially in Sport Mode) and gets plenty of looks from people standing nearby :ROFLMAO:

In theory the mpg does increase, although (un)fortunately in my case enthusiasm to drive increased at a faster rate so my average is around 18 mpg!
