Just bought my first Porsche

Mid-life crisis present to myself.  Wife went away for a week, and came back to find I'd bought a 981 Cayman S PDK. I've only had it a few days, but many B roads in Berkshire later and I'm a very happy boy!

I went to pick her up from Heathrow in it.  Asked if she wanted a demo on some B roads near where we live.  Then she said she felt car sick :)

But yes, she does like it.  She's pleased for me as I never really loved the car I had before (V8 BMW M3).  I already love the Cayman.

The Cayman is a great car in every way.

Although i can see why people love M3's -  as its a BMW I would never buy one...
in my opinion you have definitely made the right choice!

    What spec is your Cayman?

I have to say the only thing which grates a little with Porsche so far is how they can sell a car at that price with EVERYTHING as an option.  £500 for cruise control.  Really?  Most mid range cars come with that as standard.  Same with heated seats (this is the wife's main gripe - that it doesn't have any).  Part of dual control climate for something like £900? Crazy.

But there you go.  This is how they get foolish men to give them money :)
