Greetings all

Was mentioned at the Club meeting tonight about a run out on Sunday. Nothing official, just a run out as the weather is supposed to be nice. Maybe the last chance of the year to get those roofs down....!

I am completely open to suggestions as there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this board as to good roads ect. I'm not to sure of places to stop for coffee ect so any information would be appreciated.

Maybe meet at the Toys R Us car park for say 10.30 for an 11.00 leave. Thinking of a run up Keilder or maybe the coast for a few hours. I am totally open to suggestions for routes and meeting places.

If anybody is interested please leave a comment and I will try and throw a basic route together.

Cheers

Andy & Angela

Hi

We've not had chance to get out during the summer due to the campsite being busy.

Coast sounds good, how about Filey?

Love to Guys, but my back is still goosed after operation. Pressing the clutch is a killer :(

Thanks for the input, I would love to head off down the coast.... However the A1 from Scotch corner is closed to J50 something for removal of a temporary bridge. That means the A19 will be chaos.

North it is I'm afraid.

Andy, put me down with Graeme O, Nick E and Alastair S for at least four cars, possibly three more PCGB member cars from a 911Uk forum run I was planning. A run up the coast sounds like a great idea given the weather forecast. Have you got a route worked out yet.

cheers

I have something in mind (thanks Deb) still leaving from Toys R Us car park for 10.30 - 11.00. Nothing on paper as of yet though. Wasn't really planning to go that far (paper wise) as we all know the area quite well.

Route 1 - Up the coast via Cramlington to Alnwick across to Rothbury and then down to Ponteland.

Route 2 - Heddon on the wall, military road to Chollerford on to Bellingham. Up through Keilder to Saughtree (Scotland). On to Hobkirk. On to the A6088 down to the A68 to Ponteland.

Both are only suggestions and not on paper. Both are around the same distance within 20m ish. Was intending just to be a chilled day nothing formal so to speak. Just a turn up, have a discussion and drive :ROFLMAO:

Well. What can I say another fantastic day's drive with the club and enjoying the camaraderie and friendship within the family of Porsche enthusiasts. Why, did I ponder for 4yrs about joining. 🙂

Many thanks to all who turned out today. Gives me the confidence to maybe organise something again in the future but maybe on a more formal front. Takes a bit pressure off the the normal organisers. Good to meet more club members in surroundings that makes us all happy..... Driving Porsches...!

Thanks Y'all

Andy and Angela
