3.2 Carrera Leather Colours

Hi all,

Does anybody have any interior colour codes or charts for a 3.2 Carrera specifically for the leather. I am looking to refurb the interior of my 1985 car in blue leather. My seats aren't original and have been badly dyed by a previous owner. I just want to be sure that I'm going to re-trim the car in a period correct colour.

Any help much appreciated,
Ben

My thought would be to get the interior colour code for your car; it should be on the sticker under the front lid and/or in the service book. Here's a list of codes versus names http://type911shop.co.uk/...on_Area/Interior_Codes

I should think you can also find a piece of un-dyed leather on the seat somewhere, perhaps under the hinge covers or underneath the seat, to see what it looked like when it left the factory.

If you find the name of the colour Southbound has some colour charts on their website (http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/); click on trim selector and look at the various pages.

Where do you live I've just had mine done and the guy did a fantastic job and a perfect match and a lot cheaper than southbound

Not far from Bristol. where is your guy based Paul?

And in relation to the Cert of authenticity, the car came with cloth seats originally and a previous owner has changed the entire interior over to leather. I want to stick with the leather, I just want to do a better job of it!

Hello Ben.
I'm having the same problem with the Blue Leather and Vinyl trim on an 85 Carrera Targa.
Did you resolve the issue and come up with the Porsche Code ?

Best, Tony.

Hi Ben.
I’ve tried Googling PET under automotive trimming, upholstery, Porsche interior trim etc etc, all I get is websites supplying booster seats for dogs and pet hair blankets for cars !!
Could you be a bit more specific please.
Tony.
