997 Turbo Gen2 Manual - Where are they? Can't seem to find one

Hi All,

Wondering if you can help? I appreciate these are quite rare, but I'm struggling to find any at the moment. Does anyone know:

- How many RHD Gen 2 Manuals were ever made?
- If anyone is looking to sell? Coupe or Cab is ok, but must be Gen 2 Turbo and manual

Many thanks in advance!

The problem is so many people are scared off by tales of woe regarding IMS and Bore Scoring on Gen 1 cars, that as soon as good Gen 2s get posted they're snapped up.
Case in point is at 911Virgin, where the one Gen 2 they were due to get has gone even before they've had a chance to post pics into the ad.
A point to note is that while a search on Autotrader might show up 57, this would include standard variants as well as GTS, Sport Classic etc, hence the wild price range. A similar search on Pistonheads showed up 50, but narrow that down to Gen II cars and it drops to 17! And even then it still includes several GTS :-/

Good Luck!

Ah in that case it (the only one) changed hands last spring.

Joking of course... there are 20+ more but you have more chance of finding gold in your garden...

good luck.

They're going to be hard to find. I saw a 1.5 advertised a couple of weeks ago - a GT silver cab, but nothing since.

Thanks for all the replies. Does seem like a rare find but I'll keep looking. If anyone has one for sale, please feel free to PM me. Cheers
