For those of you in the North of the Region we will be meeting at the Shell petrol station at Low Row a couple of miles past Brampton on the A69 after 8.00am and leaving there at 8.30am to head over the A69 and A68 to Witton Castle.

Add your name if you intend to meet us there so we know who to expect.

Is anybody from the south of R18 going via M6 at Tebay then via Brough and A66 towards Barnard Castle, I would like to join up if possible and being a newbie.

John

Hi John,

It may well be worth you ringing our Regional organiser David Baker - I am sure that members from the south of the region will be going.

It is our regular monthly meeting on Wednesday (note, not at Garstang - at Park House Farm, Milnthorpe, the Pick your own fruit place at Heversham, 19.00 last registration for car park concours, prize for best Porsche) and some arrangements may be agreed there - if I learn anything I'll update on here if you can't make it.

Best wishes.

Thanks Rob, I'm going Wednesday evening so I'll see if anyone is travelling my way. I'm a relative newbie and don't really know many of the members.

Regards

John

I should have said, apart from the Cumbria contingent Martin. ??

A massive thank you to Darren and Tracey for following me on our detour today and bringing back my new Macan boot liner [:)]

And it turns out that Darren and I went to school together briefly over 35 years ago [:-] and we have quite a few friends in common.

Can't beat the Porsche Owners World for making new friends and mutual hobbies (Cars and Drinking Gin) :ROFLMAO:

Thank you Region 18 (& Mr Chairman) for joining us at our Regional Show yesterday. Without cars on the show field we would have no show at all. Thanks for your support and for helping us fundraise for the Air Ambulance. (final figure as yet unknown)
Apologies that we didn't get to chat to everyone but we really do appreciate you driving over to be with us.
Photos are online here. George is happy to email a hi res copy of any photo if you send him a message with your email address.
We have planned a memorial drive over into Cumbria this Sunday, if anyone would like to tag along. You can read Les' story here and details of the run are on our forum.
Thank you.
Greg & Deb
