Interior temperature control

Hi there,

Just wondering if this is an issue experienced by anyone else, as Porsche seem to be unable to resolve on my 2012 991.

If the heating and fan is switched to 'Off' and then the engine is turned off, then re-started, the temperature and fan setting returns to a previously selected temperature and not 'Off'.

Is this normal?

Thanks for any guidance.

Try storing your memory settings on the ignition key as well as the one and two buttons.
I had a similar issue, I think this is what fixed it.

Hi Mario, important thing to know is the heating/aircon levels are stored in your memory settings, along with steering wheel, seating positions etc. It took me a while to work that out myself!

Cheers

Hi Mario,

I have similar effects on my 991 Gen 2 Turbo S. Like when I park & shutdown with the front splitter down & rear spoiler up. Start the car again, drive off & they both retract. Not tried it with the temperature fan but sounds similar. Don't recall that sort happening with my 997 Turbo S (no lowerable front splitter though).

Cheers, Simon
