Jackpoint Jackstands

Hello, Anybody interested in this product- Jackpoint Jackstands ?
Check the web site and Youtube video out.
http://www.jackpointjackstands.com/

These are quite expensive $299 a pair. Plus shipping and the usual import duty, admin fee and shipping this side.
I have asked Porsche Club if they could help out with some sort of bulk buy / shipping deal. If there is enough interest they will look into it.
Thanks for your time.

Interesting product but a ridiculous price tag. $299 for a pair.
You would be better treating yourself to a new Clarke low profile 2 tonne lift and a pair of 3 tonne adjustable jack stands... or even 4 stands and still have money left over...

Yes, but the way they work takes any guess work out of the safe placement of the stands.

The problem is Contraband, when you lift a vehicle on the jack points, where do you put the axle stands, especially on a 981. It's doable, but can be a pain. I wouldn't jack or put stands in positions that some people have suggested. I know what your saying, they are very expensive.
They do look very easy use and a lot safer than your old standard axle stands.

If the group price is more realistic I would be interested in a pair.

Great idea.  Looked at these a few years ago but the price, ouch.

I'd be interested in a couple of pairs but not at the current retail price + duty + VAT + shipping.

Good luck with getting a deal and thanks for organising.

Seems like a lot of money to solve a problem that doesn't really exist, does it?
Picking the car up on one jacking point raises the car sufficiently to place an axle stand under the other on the same side, won't it?
At least, it will on a 911.

Clive
