[FONT=arial"]For our 2018 continental trip we are teaming up with Scenic & Continental Car Tours, for a run down to Monte Carlo to watch the 12th running of this historic race, which is held every 2 years. It is a 9 day trip, leaving on 8th May, returning on 16th May in 2018.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

[FONT=arial"]Enjoy the sights and sounds of cars from the golden age of motor racing as the drivers tackle the twists and turns of this famous street circuit, which still uses the same roads as the very first race on 14th April 1929. Hear the scream of super-tuned Grand Prix engines, from between the 1930's and 1980's, echoing around the natural amphitheatre that is Monaco Bay. Savour the intoxicating smell of scorched rubber and fuel lingering through the warm evenings, and rub shoulders with the rich and famous in Casino Square with its endless display of supercars. Join us at this truly unique event and take away some wonderful memories.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

[FONT=arial"]We have a choice of 3 different hotels in Menton (which is just a short train ride from the circuit) to cater for all budgets and standards. If you are interested, please make direct contact with Kieran Line (details below) and please let Steve or Phil know if you decide to book. [FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Thanks for thinking of us, Philip, I'm guessing you saw our write up about our trip to Monaco last year. We already have our plans sorted for 2018. We will be flying in but I'm sure there may be some of our members who may wish to join you for the drive down. Either way it would be good to meet up when we're down there, let us know which stand you're in.

This seems to have somehow appeared in the R7 area, and possibly all the other Regions.

This must be a software fault on the Forum, thanks for letting us know, I will report it to club HQ

we're def interested but would like to chat to anyone who may have done the trip before. we're attending the Secret Hills tour on sunday so it would be good to catch up with anyone who's been before over coffee.

we'll be in the white boxster GTS

cheers

phil

It would be good to meet up or at least know who else is going on the Monaco trip, I believe it's at least 8 cars. How can we see this group and great event forward. Bob

Hi Bob, people don't want to post on the forum details of being away from home as it is not 100% secure.

But if you email Steve at r13@porscheclubgb.com we can collate who is going and email you a list.

Best regards, Phil

Looks like a great trip. We have friends not far away and generally visit in May. We have only driven down in the Porsche once but it was a fab journey, went down via the Route Napoleon. Stunning. We have been into Monaco when its all set out for this event and the GP but not been to it. Someone's law we can't this year as we have family over from Australia. C'est la vie.
