Hi guys,
Although i'm an R11 member, I live on the Essex / Suffolk border, so wondered if your members could recommend a wheel refurbisher in the Suffolk area.

Thanks,
Graeme

I use Lepsons , in Kent I think but with a good courier they could be anywhere.

They did actually fix a cracked rims and it's still fine.

I have used Wheelworx before. They have a place in Colchester and another in Bury st edmunds.

Ok good, I know they are used by Coopers BMW Ipswich. A few years ago I had a Mini wheel refurbished by them, it was fine for 18 months but then the fresh paint started bubbling up round the valve. I believe the valve was not removed in the refurnb process and just masked off. This left whatever abraided material or existing corrosion behind, just covered with fresh paint. WheelWorks didn't want to know. In the end I bought a new wheel which wasn't much more expensive. I still have the old R50 star spoke wheel in my garage, it's a good wheel aside from the above issue if anyone needs one.

Gents,
Thanks for help. I had a couple Wheelworx recommendations from the R11 chaps, so I think I'll give them a whirl.
Cheers,
Graeme

Just for the record, I used a company called wheel revival in Hoveton near Wroxham in Norfolk for mine, did a fantastic job.
