I am pleased to say I was able to make it Ice Force S again this year. Weather wasn't great for Photos in that it snowed a lot of the time and there were only brief periods of decent light but hope you enjoy what follows. Porsche had 4 people just taking video and photos and this is their video:

My own video not as professional but possibly worth a look for real fans. Apologies for long clip at the end but the cup car wasnt using a Go Pro and Go Pro software doesn't like editing standard MP4. It will play it but wont let you edit (Any advice on this appreciated)

GT3RS - Always a blast to drive

Cup Car - Very difficult to drive well on Ice and a nosiy beast

Nick I understand you know my York based co-driver

Looks like you had plenty of fun again Bob.
It must be getting popular as another manufacturer I follow are now doing similar driving trips in their cars!!

I hate the cold just a bit too much to venture that far [:)]

Yes getting very popular. McLaren, Ferrari and Bentley all offer ice driving as well as lots of independents. Porsche will have 1,600 people go through its winter training this year and is probably the best value.

Bob,

Re GoPro, I downloaded your youtube video and edited it using GoPro Studio. When I say edited I cut out the non-Cup car part, and added some new titles. I saved the file which GoPro formatted as .mov but it is easy to save in a different format.

P.S. I am not a video expert but have time on my hands...maybe next year in the snow for me if my shoulder allows.

Hi Bob
Yes, what a coincidence wrt your co-driver. Small world eh.
Finland looks great fun. Are you planning on any PCGB track days this year? One or two of us are going to Anglesey; and Donington is back on the list albeit at a price. Hopefully may see you at one of these.

Nick
