Caption Competition Rules

The Management felt it necessary to provide some guidance with regard to Caption Competitions . The following rules will henceforth apply to ALL caption competitions run on the Cotswold Region's Forum pages:
Cotswold Region Forum Caption Competition Rules

This is a game of skill. The winner will be that caption considered by the competition editor (an individual or group of individuals nominated by the Cotswold Regional Organiser(s) ‘the Management’) to be of the highest merit. Individuals may make multiple entries.

The Management reserves the right to publish competition entries (captions) on the Forum ‘page’ Facebook ‘page’ and Twitter ‘feed’ managed by the Cotswold Region of Porsche Club GB (‘the Region’) and to canvas the opinion of visitors to those sites with regard to the merit of competition entries (captions). However, the decision and opinion of the Management in regard to the actual winner of the competition will be final. There is no right of appeal, ever.

The Management may publish your name and entry suggestion on the Region’s website pages, including the Regions’s Forum ‘page’ Facebook ‘page’ and Twitter ‘feed’.

If you are under the age of 16, you must obtain permission from your parent/guardian before entering. If you are 16 or over you are on your own.

Details of the winner will be published on the Region’s Forum page when the Management have time or get bored whichever occurs first.

No tangible prizes will be available. Prizes will be limited to the general ridicule and abuse (but only within the terms of the Forum rules) of fellow members. There will be no cash alternatives.

The Management does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet malfunctions or other technical issues including but not limited to elastic bands breaking a dog eating your smartphone plague pestilence or any other act of God. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

Entrants must comply with all rules of the Forum. Any entries deemed by the Management to contravene the rules of the Forum or contain remarks or content of an obscene offensive commercial or political nature will be removed without notice. End of.

No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.

This competition is not open to dictators despots leaders of proscribed terrorist organisation non-carbon based lifeforms or their direct family members.

The Management reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.

These rules are governed by the laws described in the Legal Code of Ælfred the Great (c. 893 AD).
