Caymans by Region June 2016

We must be one of the fastest growing registers in the club at this point, partially due to getting the search engine to pick up all of the variants ( we had no GT4's listed a couple of months ago and in the search other Caymans were identified ) we now have all variants showing in the list although not all are identified identically, maybe we should have a recognised identity for each model, for instance we have the 987 987G2 Cayman R Cayman 987R depending to how it was first listed. Unfortunately now it is all done by profile entry I cannot edit the list to make these common entries ( easier to count ). I'll take a look through the available model designations used on the profile entries to clarify the models.

At 563 Cayman register members we are probably one of the larger registers since 911's tend to be split up into their generations and sometimes types such as the RS models etc, the Boxster register is the largest register with in excess of 2,000 members the last time I heard

    Well done Kevan.

Always good to hear that our register is doing well - indicating the growing popularity of the Cayman - and it's interesting to see the demographic distribution of ownership.

It could be done by variant/region or a comparative to other Porsche models but I have neither the information nor the time to do the latter and by the time even variants were covered in this way it would have changed, at the current rate of recruitment we have gained 10 new members in the past 3 weeks.

Hmm! Yes David, perhaps not the correct choice of word there, but you get my meaning.

On the other hand, I suppose you could say that it gives an indication of the Cayman "population" throughout the UK.
