GROUP BUY - 997.2 rear silencer bypass Hayward & Scott

Hello!

We are organising a group buy for the H&S rear silencer bypass pipes for the 997.2.

These are the same as the Sharkwerks offering, the pipes are BS304 16swg, tig welded, mandrel bent, with 10mm thick flanges and 1.6mm wall thickness so do not drone. They come with new straps but you will need to buy new gaskets. Claimed power increase is 10hp and of course improved fuel economy and a weight saving.

We already have five orders on the 911UK forum at £300 +vat, if we can get a total of ten orders we will receive a further discount.

As you know the 997.2 is rather quiet, this bypass frees it up a bit without any drone, PSE owners will really appreciate it!

Does this also work with 997.1 S models? If so I'm interested. I've had a quick look at H & S web-site and they seem to indicate another mod for the gen 1 cars, the so called "gundo hack". I'm not entirely convinced by the latter, but am desperate for a limited cost sound improvement, especially after following a friends 991.1 GTS on Sunday...

OK. Thanks for the reply. Good luck with the deal, a good discount from standard.

Before I say yes, can they confirm that this doesn't affect the MOT emissions or Engine check light doesn't stay on?
Also is there a video of the difference in sound from standard to this?
Thanks

Quick question.
What happens when we get 10 people, do you buy them and we give you the money or do we all get them fitted at the same place?

You'll be able to phone H&S with a code to order at the reduced rate.

Fitting, H&S will do it for £200 or you can get any independent to do it for a little cheaper. Or of course you can do it yourself.

Right, the price for the bypass is £290+vat +£15+vat.

That's a grand total of £366 delivered for UK orders.

H&S will be handling the purchases, you will need to call them with a discount code.

PM me and I will forward the code, contact name and telephone number.

Fitting can also be arranged with H&S - they have quoted £200, your local indy may be cheaper.

H&S will be taking orders from tomorrow, there will be some delay as the exhausts need to be manufactured.

So we've had eight orders, the exhausts are being made as I type, there are still two spots available, let me know if you are interested.

Can I take the last build spot for my 4 GTS? Re timing, I am having some work done by an Indie garage w/c 22 August so would it be ready to be shipped then. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Peter
