Recommended servicing in London

Hi all,

i am looking for advice. I have a 2010+ Cayenne diesel & 996 convertible.
I am looking for someone in south London to look after the servicing & care for me. To date, I have mainly used the East London Porsche centre, but their recent move has put them too far away.
I am trying West London for the next service, but as both cars are out of warranty, i think finding an independent would be worthwhile.

The places I can find are:
RGA - Have used them, nice guy, can't fault the work so far, but worry its all a bit chaotic there.
Charles Ivey - Have heard they are expensive, may as well go to OPC
Tower Porsche - any feedback appreciated.
GSF - Battersea

Many thanks!

I've been very happy with Tower Porsche so far. RGA were also good when I went there.

Hi
Can anyone please recommend a reliable garage in/around London? My Boxster has a noise coming from the left rear tyre. It could just be the brakes but I'd like to have it checked soon. I don't want to take it to the dealership as they will likely charge me a fortune even if something minor.
Thank you.

Hi All,

Hope this is the right place to post such a question.  I have just booked my 981 spyder in for a six year service with East London OPC and I was wondering if anyone knew whether they offered a Porsche Club discount?  I forgot to ask at the point of booking and am wondering whether it is worth calling back to ask.  The service is just under £1,200 so any discount would make it a bit more palatable!

Cheersm

Porsche East London will typically discount parts for Club members. They will also allow customers to supply their own Mobil 1 providing it is in sealed containers. Both should reduce your costs.

Thanks Nick, will reach out to them.  Out of interest do you know what their tyre prices are like?  I've got to replace the other three after replacing one that had a nail in but been struggling to find someone local with reasonable prices so always end up sorting when I am up in the Cotswolds as about half the price of that I have had quotes for locally.

As per most Porsche dealers, tyres are priced at a premium, though most have access to stock.

For an alternative, I and others go to Black Boots in Chesham (now part of the Protyre network): https://www.blackboots.co.uk
