Our regional meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month starting from 20.00 pm but feel free to go earlier
if you are planning to eat there.

We are sometimes asked what the dress code is but we don't have one, the meetings are very informal, friendly and there is no problem
if you can not make it until later.

Look forward to seeing you there
Elaine and Stuart

The Summer Solstice, probably the hottest evening of the year, was not really the ideal time to be in our meeting room looking at old Porsche pictures on the big screen, so although we ran them we will do so again on a more suitable occasion. By then the replacement 55" TV will be in operation too.

While not one of our biggest turnouts it was great to also meet some new and rejoining members with some nice cars, particularly the Boxster 986 with some subtle but extremely well made and very suitable one-off body modifications, although it somehow escaped Ted's camera on this occasion.

MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY AT HUNSTMAN. Its going to be warm and sunny, so get your cars out and come on down. John Piper from OPC Bristol is coming along with some exciting news for R16 (i hope)

Have a good evening tonight.

Ted can you ask John Piper about this event Bristol OPC have put on their Facebook page. We can put it in our diary.

Bristol Porsche

Some things don’t change. The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 8th June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.

In June this year to celebrate the 70th Birthday of Porsche, our centre will be holding a Sportscar Together Day event. You, your family and your friends are invited to the dealership on Sunday 10th June between 9.30am and 4.30pm to help celebrate this historic occasion.

The event is a celebration of all things Porsche, bringing together Porsche drivers and fans, along with a display of both classic and new Porsche models and fun for the whole family”

Please keep an eye on our social media content over the coming weeks for additional information.

Yes that's one of the things he is going to talk about plus others !!!!!!!!. A "chimp" will be required when you return !!!!

Thanks to everyone who attended last nights meeting.I could not match Stuarts slick video presentation, but John Piper from Bristol OPC filled the gap nicely, and Les watched the MU game on his phone !!!!

Please note the date for our September meeting is Wednesday 19th and not the 12th as I mistakenly put in a recent email to our region, sorry.

For our social evening this month (Wednesday 19 September 2018)

We will have a talk/presentation from one of our members and good friend Nick Paul who has just completed a remarkable restoration of his MGB race car and has also obtained a hard to get FIA historic passport (for the car not Nick) that will enable the MG to be eligible for historic racing. There has been some highs and lows with the restoration but the outcome has been remarkable, hopefully Nick will bring the MG along for us to have a look around in the car park.

Crikey. Quiet in here... tumbleweed.

Went to Huntsman last night for my first meet since joining. Great turnout and some very nice cars - must've been sixty plus there. Only spoke to a few, and instantly forgot names so my apologies. Couldn't stay long but nice to see so many enthusiasts. Will try to make it a regular date in my diary.

Hi..glad you enjoyed the evening. R16 are a good bunch. Many people on social media these days which has left the forum under used which is a pity. Do come along again and go to other events (Castle Combe, Prescott, and a variety of other car related things.

Cheers - Paul
