Cayman S 2007 Fuse Listing

Here I think is a useful fuse list for the Cayman for the subforum, I have taken off references to other models since Porsche do sensibly install a generic wiring system which is tweaked to the model etc but it should save anyone needing to remove the list from the fusebox, should anyone find any errors ( this is the 07 model and so there may be other changes for other years ) please let me know.

    This really helped, thanks!

A penny got caught in the cig lighter and I got a zap when I tried to remove it with a pen... all fixed now.

    Cheers!

    Thanks!
I just had some crazy problems with CDR24... and the amp.
The speakers were creating low thumping sound with lots of static - like they were possessed. Rattling the doors and sounding like the speakers were going to blow.
Not sure if its the amp or the stereo yet, but pulling the fuse for the CDR seems to have shut down the sound output at least.
Anyone have experience with a similar amp or stereo problem?
2007 Cayman S - original equipment stereo - not the Bose unit.

Problem could possibly be in the Amp, if you have the Porsche Package Plus stereo this amp is an obscure make and has problems, there is a place to send them but I don't know where, Alan Armstrong had a similar problem on his Cayman

Just to say that I think the known ASK amp problem referred to by Kevan only applies to the Porsche Sound Package Plus stereo package and not the Bose package.

Alan Armstrong had his unit repaired by a chap in Norway ( http://www.bergvillfx.com ).

You will need someone with a PIWIS computer readout unit, they will then be able to wipe the code and if it returns there is a definite fault.

    Hi
I have just found the same problem, mine is on a 2008 2.7. Its the standard stereo. I will try the same as you have done and get back.

As mentioned above, if you have the standard stereo with the Sound Package Plus option (code M490) Bervill F/X in Norway offer a repair service for the ASK amplifier.
