I thought I would share some memories with you guys by uploading to YouTube a nice video of that beautiful day, nearly 20 years ago...

A nice video of that beautiful day, nearly 20 years ago... that was the year I bought my first Porsche (A726 00D) a 944 Lux in guards red.

Highlights for me: Alan's silver rose 944 turbo, beautiful (A10 0MF) Not forgetting Frazer's equally nice one (FJI 852) Tony's manual 928 with black and white pascha trim (POR 923... nicely placed screws there, Tony...) And Ronnie and Lizanne chasing up the pack in their guards red Fiesta...

I loved those days [:)]

Ronnie and Lizzane now have a guards red 964 but arent around the club anymore, did they not have a white 3.2 around that time? cant quite remember but i do remember alans car with the turbo badge down the front wing. cheers scott.

When I first met Ronnie & Lizanne they had a beautiful light metallic green 911 SC with a biscuit/tan leather interior... was very nice, then he got his hands on a mint 924 Lux, followed by a mint 944 Lux (both red with black and white pascha). He was in the Fiesta cause the car was in the garage or something... later on I know he'd got a white 944 S2, then before I left for Holland I think they'd been in a 993, but the years in between that I am not sure.

That really is a step back in time ..Tony still has that car .Bob and Estelle in a 911still has that reg on his latest car 993 I saw him months ago at OPC open day The 944 turbo was Frazer Murphys now owned by young John Grant I think the SC belonged to a guy called Graham ? That must have been just before I joined in 1993 all those years ago . Brian

Nice memories, my old Carrera Cab 3.2 can just be seen in the car park, this was the event when I met a young Frazer Murphy and his wife Mary and we became buddies ever since. Thanks for posting, good memories Mike

Well done Justin. A happy blast from the past . Mary isn't so happy about her hair style but we did did meet Mike and Karen for the first time on that treasure hunt and have been firm friends ever since. Frazer

Mary's hair , woah, big hair, plus you had some hair, me too. Great bit of PCGB history, more please. The more mullets the better.

I don't post much on here...but these are fantastic snapshots in time. Some young owners for what would be relatively new cars in 1992! Nice one! [;)]

Hi Justin

Nice to hear from you again ,where do the years go ! 1992 was the year I joined the club with my then 84 Carrera 3.2 in Burgundy, fast forward 29 years and 16 Porsches later still around. Post up any old footage you have .

Stay safe .

Regards

Brian

Great to see some old or perhaps not so old and well kent faces and their Porsches. Thanks for posting the link.

Ronnie still has his 964 and a 997, both immaculate as ever. Tony still had his 928 when last I saw him a couple of years back at LeMans. I Have numerous old pics of events back to a time when I first joined the club in the 70`s, I have been Porscheless for rather too long and been scanning the adds for a while now.... air cooled or 997.2... Hmm..?

Had a quick look through old pics and stumbled across this one from one of Tony`s epic trips where PCGB folk from all parts of the UK came together for a trip to Arran. Apologies for the quality it is an old pic. Should anyone wish to see any more pics from the Porsche past... Just SHOUT
