Moderator needed

Hi all,

It would be a great help if one of the regular forum users would take on the role of Moderator for the Scotland forum. Most moderators never need to do anything, so it's not an onerous task.

All it needs is someone to keep an eye on things to make topics are in the right area and either edit or report any posts that break the forum rules. Please get in touch with the admin team if you can help.

Hold on "¦ I let my membership lapse for a few months, but when I come back there's still only this one thread in the members only Scotland forum?

Poor show, chaps. I thought I'd actually been missing out on some chat!

Try opening the number of threads up to show more than the last 30 days... A lot more shows then.

However most chat goes on in the main open are of the Scotland forum - where it's jumping!

Most use the main forum no one bothers with this part anymore as it is supposed to be members only.just post where the majority do, that way you will keep in touch

The members-only section was really only put in at the request of members who wanted to discuss the region without non-members witnessing the problems. Happy to get rid of it if no-one feels there's any need for it now?

If it was not for my torettes I would jump at the chance!

Put this to sleep as it has served its purpose.

Long live the revolution!

Martyn Molyneaux kindly travelled up here and chaired a meeting (along with Chris Clark) and that resolved all the issues that were being widely debated on here. Region now being very well run (IMHO).

Another vote for killing off the "members only" section.

Although the only problem I can see is that it actually contains all the old (non-controversial) threads - including useful info like discussions on places to get work done on our cars. So we don't want it deleted.

Perhaps just add a "Top" post "Don't post in this members only section"
Or lock it so it can be added to?

So how do you see all that then?? I must be missing something.
No comments please!!!![:D][:D][:D]
