Out of interest, were they keen to get your car in for part exchange at a good price?
I've done 27k in mine and wondering if it's worth changing over now or run it for another year until the new ones are on the horizon.

Aren't all options non standard by definition? Also, are they saying that Porsche refusing to build you a car in Guards Red or whatever it is you want, or are they saying that they can not gaurantee you delivery with "unusual extras" at launch (presume this is the Cayman??) - eg 987/997's weren't available with 19" Sport Designs and chrome tailpipes at launch.

sales man said porsche will not build a car with any extras other than whats in the brouchure.. the only thing i want as an (not in the brochure)extra is the car painted a non standard colour.. guards red is standard on all the rest of the range so why not the Cayenne?? []

looks like i might have to take my money to BMW or Volvo who do red as standard.

The Exclusive Programme exists for you.

Or is it not available for the Cayenne?[&:]

Edit:
I've just checked the Porsche UK site and it is available for Cayennes.
You could suggest your salesman reads up on it - he could make a lot of money from you...[;)]

uumm can't get anyone from Porsche to agree to ordering me a Red Cayenne so im going to look at Rangerover as a replacement.

porsches lose. it annoys me that Porsche advertise customer special orders (you can have what ever you like) then say NO as soon as you ask for something diffrent....im getting tired of being told what i CAN have instead of what i would like.
