Happy to discuss upgrading the stereo - Pioneer head unit in mine.

Does it have Bose? Easier without……

Already posted on the Spyder thread but thought I’d say hi.

New Spyder owner and enjoying it. Condition is immaculate and absolutely stunning, great 4hr chat and handover as a private buy and credit to previous owner, thinking this one might be with me for a long time.

Owner of a white 968 ClubSport which I’ve had for 8 years and done 25,000 fun miles in that time.

Initial impressions are Spyder is nicely nimble on country roads, great engine sound, firm suspension but still copes well with bumps and road surfaces and nice combination of small size plus fast enough for me, seems surprisingly quiet even with sports exhaust on but drive home was fairly wet so didn’t use high revs much. Also seems quieter than my 968CS which has a lot of road roar due to lack of sound deadening even though I drove most of the 250miles home with rear window out.

Spec is manual, bucket seats, lightweight wheels, short shift, sports exhaust, sports chrono, rear parking sensor, cruise control with no air con and basic PCM. So almost perfect.

Short term it’s mostly get used to it by driving it. And if it does everything I want then sell the 968CS. Hope to do lots of roof off miles even though I’m in Scotland so will buy a shower cape soon. I’m used to manual roofs and cars more focused on driving than comfort miles as I had a couple of Lotus Elise’s (series 2 111s and 111r) before the 968 ClubSport. Next will probably do something with a stereo replacement to be able to use apple carplay.

No Bose. I had seen you other posts and was going to chat to you anyway.

Can discuss over a beer or 10 at Le Mans in 2 weeks [:)]
