The red relay has been verified as the non start route cause following a simple swap with one of the other 2 black versions. All three are period Wahle made in Germany items and have not been touched in 30 plus years of ownership. I see lots of PRC replacements on line and I am thinking the genuine Porsche Classis item might be the same. Does anyone know if you can source the OEM item ?

Hi

I ordered an OEM one from Design911.
What turned up was an unbranded item with the only print on it was "made in china"!

Design911 told me that's all that porsche can source and supply now. How true that is, I don't know.

I sent mine back as car wouldn't run on it and I measured some high resistance like 15-20 ohms across the supposedly closed contacts.

Have carried on using mine and used another owners to prove mine wasn't at issue.

The Genuine Porsche items are indeed made in China although they do have their logo on them as before. The non branded versions are not OEM but aftermarket, again made in China

What is the part number of your fuel pump relay?
I have been searching for a relay for my 1983 924 2L for many months without success part number 433 906 059.
I have been told that they are no longer available but Design 911 are searching for alternatives.
