Hi guys

Does anyone know how close the above lights are to each other dimension wise, will say, the 928 light fit in the 951 opening?

Cheers

Pete

Hi Pete

I did some trawling a while back, looking for new or good used plastic casings (my lenses are fine), obviously I never found any, just complete units at £500 a pop.

I had a look there and the 928 S4 units look very similar, but I've never seen any cross reference chat about them fitting 944's. They do retail at similar cost though.

Comparing these two, the Bosch numbers on the rear of the plastic casings are the same?

Worth investigating if you can put your hands on 928 units for a good price.

Don't recall if it was for one or a pair, and ebay or facebook market place, but I saw an advert for £250 used, the other day. I bought a new one from Promax for about £150 years ago, including a pair of the plastic protectors.

Thanks for the replies guys....Stuart, that's very interesting?....I asked the question as a bodyshop who's writing up a quote for me noticed my broken light and said he thinks he may have a set for the S4 buried somewhere, I'll report back if they are compatible.

Cheers

Pete

I can’t believe that someone hasn’t attempted to Vac form some polycarbonate ones by now.

I wouldn't pay more than £200 for one. I'd rather replace each one with a couple of round projector lights fitted into the original casing.
