Change of location for Porsche Club GB stand at the Donington Historic Festival
Dear Porsche Club GB Member

We very much look forward to welcoming you and your Porsche to Donington Park this weekend. Please be aware that, owing to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to move PCGB from the club's usual Infield location and onto the hard standing on the Melbourne Hairpin for this weekend. Last weekend, as you might know, Donington Park experienced exceptional levels of torrential rain, and this has resulted in many of the public and infield grass parking areas becoming unusable. There is nowhere else available to us in the Infield for such a large group as PCGB, so we and the Donington Park team have made the decision to relocate the club to avoid any issues with the waterlogged areas. You will also find the Ferrari Owners’ Club and the pre-2000 classic cars on the Melbourne Hairpin, and cars booked on the lunchtime parade will still be able to join in from there.

Entry to the Melbourne Hairpin is via the main gate into the Paddock. Do not, therefore, head for the Esses Tunnel car club entrance and do not follow the 'A-K' parking signs - instead, please follow the H5 signage and use the main entrance of the venue to access the Hairpin. You do not need a new parking pass - our team on the ground have been fully briefed as to the change in location for your club stand and will do all they can to make the event run smoothly. Please note, the main public entrance and parking have also been relocated for the weekend, further down the Melbourne Road, so we ask you not to follow that route.

We apologise for this late change but it really is unavoidable.

With best wishes

The Donington Historic Festival Team
