To celebrate the Porsche 997 becoming part of the Classic Register in 2023, we are having a tour of OPC Classic Partner dealers, and we have just confirmed the next date at Porsche Centre Swindon on Saturday 17th June for a morning breakfast meet and a live technical talk in the workshop. There will be the opportunity to join the Classic Register, if you have not already, see the new PCCM+ unit in action, and the technical talk will focus on things to look out for on your car and a chance to ask the technician some questions. The meet is open to anyone with a 997 (Gen 1 or Gen 2), 987 Boxster and Cayman (Gen 1 or Gen 2). This is a free to attend event, and it would be great to get a good display in the car park! We are discussing with OPC Swindon the opportunity to extend this to include a further event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Porsche and the 60th of the 911, and I will arrange a drive up the Cornbury House for anyone who is interested.

You are welcome to attend from any region, and we will look to arrange a drive out for those that would like to attend. I will get details of local hotels for anyone who would like to stay over, and if you have any query, please feel free to ask on the forum or email me at 997@porscheclubgb.com
