Can non Porsche cars/non PCGB members attend the brands monthly meet?

StuNo1

I’m looking to attend the brands meet and my dad has a boxster and is not a PCGB member. Also I have a mate with a FF and one with a TT. Are any of them allowed to bring their cars?

I am sure one of the regional organisers will respond re ”membership requirement" but personally I would like to think interested parties are welcomed on club nights especially to get a feel for the club, if I am there I will make the effort to say hello.

As far as non Porsche cars - there’s plenty of parking available and nobody is counting who turns up in what. I would suggest parking away from the informal line up of Porsche cars that will inevitably form for no reason other than that seems like the right thing to do (I did the same when I turned up for a fast ford meeting with a mate for in my Boxster. )

Please look up Charles & Anne we will be happy to chat Porsche to you.

One thing you can be sure of at an R25 meeting is a warm welcome from the RO's Sue and Mick, Sue and Chris, especially as Porsche owners. We were R25 members for many years before having to forgo ownership due to advancing age and infirmity, but having been members of a different region previously it was the warm welcome from R25 when we moved house into their area that made us re-join the club. In the last couple of years of our membership we would turn up in my SLK280, and especially in winter it's amusing how many (including RO's!) turn up in their "shoping taxis" rather than their P&J - with no comment from anyone! We are also contemplating a visit to Brands for a MM soon, although no longer being PCGB members, simply to regain contact with "old friends", and we know we'll be welcome.

Hi and apologies for not responding earlier. Thank you to our members, past and present, who have already offered you advice and with which we concur.

Our club nights are open to all Porsche owners with the hope that you will join us in the future. For those without a Porsche, they may be convinced to change or extend their collection! Just make yourselves known to one or all of us where we hope you will receive a warm welcome. Our next club night is on Wednesday 5th April at Brands Hatch via the main entrance on the A20.
Sue, Mick, Chris & Sue. Joint Regional Organisers and Assistants.
