I’m considering two cars at present, a 2022 Carrera and a 2020 Carrera S. Both similar spec and low mileage. Same price.
Which one to go for???????

First thing to do is to drive both cars and assess the driving differences and determine your personal needs and preferences.
As an owner of an S I have not had the opportunity to drive the base model so can’t comment on this.
If the prices and specs are similar you are trading performance against a newer model
There are some differences between the models aside from the 65hp power/torque uplift on the S. The base has smaller wheels and does not have PTV and S has updated brakes.
If you are buying from a Porsche centre they should come with a 2 year warranty If not consider what manufacturers warranty is available , also consider any specified options between the two cars.
There is a useful You Tube video by 9 Werks that compares the two models.

Which ever model you choose you will not be disappointed.

I've only ever had the S. The difference in spec has always been too great for me to turn down. I don't track (and I won't track) so I don't feel as though I will ever get the best use out of the additional toys, but just knowing they are there does it for me.

As mentioned, you need to look what you're getting for your money but take into consideration warranty etc which you'll get the remainder of the factory warranty with the '22 car.

If you can, list the specs of both cars here as it will give us a better idea of what you're getting.
