Both the inner rubber and outer black leather gear shift boots have gone on my 83 944. Has anyone got a recommendation for a source for replacements?

Design 911 (https://www.design911.co.uk/) supply both parts, but check with the dealer too, sometimes the price is crazy, but sometimes it's the same or even less, and often you can pick it up and save shipping costs if you buy from Porsche.
In case it's of use to anyone else:
Got the inner rubber boot from my OPC - a couple of quid cheaper than all the usual online parts suppliers.
Got the outer leather one from Prestige Parts appearing as seller kpporsche on ebay, https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/prestigeparts. It's a remanufactured part, new leather sleeve over old internals, excellent quality leather and fits well, about 100 less than a new one form OPC.
