911.2 T - 4Year Service - Cost & options advice

My 911 T is having its 4 years service in Feb (18k miles) and the invoice i;ve received from Porsche is a little confusing. It has the "Inspection” maintenance tasks at £834 , and then they’ve listed an additional maintenance task at £1k, plus braking fluid £160. Coming in at £2k + total

Does this seem right ? Or should i de-select the ‘additional‘ tasks

Sounds very expensive. Does it specify the details of the "additional maintenance” at £1k?

Attached the invoice detail , think the extras are if you want to extend warranty right? Any worth doing ? Seems excessive

Not really connected to the warranty, the things they are quoting are all normal for 4 year service. When I had my 4 year service in 2021, the total cost including spark plugs, brake fluid etc was £1513 including VAT. I suggest you get some quotes from other dealers.

How does the invoice detail compare to your Service Manual ?

Do you have an existing Porsche warranty ?

I would consider the 4 year / 40k additional maintenance to be a definite requirement

They just got back to me and confirmed i need to do additional tasks for the remainder of my warranty to be valid, plus have the option to extend

Will shop around for options, seems very steep

The work specified is as set out in the Service Schedule , as shown in the Service book. The price quoted for the work, however, can vary between OPC’s. I’d suggest contacting other OPC’s for a quote for the same work and if they are lower you can either go there or use the quote price to haggle. Also you have to remember that PCGB members get at least 10% discount at OPC’s. ??

Service intervals have been extended, but the 4 Yearly is a biggy. And, at 6 years, there are the belt changes - c.£1000.
But, be grateful you don’t run an Airbus (eurocopter) helicopter - even on a single-engined, the 12 yearly is c.£100,000++
