New paid up member in Epsom with Boxster 718 GTS

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post new member intros?

I'm Doug, live in Epsom and just got my first Porsche - completely smitten already

She's a 2018 Boxster GTS in Crayon.  Has some nice options, quite different from the usual GTS spec as I don't have any Alcantara/Carbon

I am not entirely sure of all the options that I have, although I think I have my interior is full leather interior with contrast seat centres and seats belts in Crayon

Some observations of the car in the first few hundred miles are;

1. The standard climate control is annoying. I need numbers, not a kids centimetre ruler :)
2. The 2.5 engine is incredible and all the stuff I have read about it not being a proper Porsche as it doesn't have a 6cyl is rubbish. It's a fantastic, torquey and interesting engine (doesn't sound amazing though granted!)
3. The rear visibility is terrible and I dont have a rear camera! Must look in to retrofit
4. The PDLS+ headlights are absolutely incredible

I am looking forward to getting to know the car better and hopefully meeting some of you in the future and to make it to some meets.

Cheers

Doug

Welcome Doug
very nice Porsche - the 4 cylinder engines give great performance in my opinion and experience .
LED are good you can’t get them on many current - even premium porsche models-  due to current shortages
if you look on the Surrey regional section of forum there are meets once a month one at BLACKBUSH airport camberley and one other location - good way to meet fellow PCGB members
you may want to post this under Boxster forum as well
