Happy New Year everyone.

Help ... can anyone tell me (please) what the benefits are of the MyPorsche or Porsche Connect apps? I routinely pay for connection and having now spent several hours trying to understand what it has to offer I see only a very basic and functionally poor app. In short - what is the point?

I think I must be missing something so all help is most welcome. Meantime it is driving me nuts!

All feedback, comments or coaching are welcome.

BTW the app is connected to a 2018 991 GTS.

Cheers
Robert

Porsche Connect has been replaced, in full, by MyPorsche and for the latter to work correctly Porsche Connect should be removed from your device.

This is what I find useful in MyPorsche:

Remotely check that your car is locked
Remotely check where your car is
Remotely check fuel level, oil level, tyre pressure and date of next service
If you have Porsche tracking (PVTS) you can disable it when the car needs go in for a service or is being transported (e.g. on a ferry)
Digital manual (no internet searching)

Yes, it does give basic information but I find that it gives me piece of mind that all is working and safe. I can't think of other information that would be useful. I assume that you do hence your post. What kind of things are you looking for?
