We've got to see the New Year in. . .

Anyone fancy a run out, me and Wendy will be at Kingston Park, Tesco Carpark (NE3 2FP petrol and toilets) at 9am for a 9.30am start, Monday 2nd Jan.

We can head out on some of my favourite back roads, have a coffee at the Wentworth Cafe Hexham then I'd want to head over Hartside to Melmerby for lunch.

If poor weather dictates we'll do a lap of Derwent Reservoir instead and head to Stanhope Middleton and Brough then back - awesome, even in poor weather.

Who's up for a first run then? Let me know here and spread the word.

Paul

Hi Paul

Great idea, but unfortunately we will have to give this a miss due to family commitments.

Thanks for organising though and we’ll see you soon.

Kind regards - Philip & Jacquie

Morning Paul, great idea, unfortunately both Deb & I have the dreaded lurgy that’s going around so both not feeling very good.

Originally I was planning on heading down to the Motorist early New Years day as they’re hoping to put on their biggest breakfast meet to date so will let you know about your Monday run nearer the weekend, thanks for inspiring us all to get out though.

Could be up for a jaunt out as the start point is only round the corner from me but couldn’t spare a whole day - maybe a blast to Hexham and back or Hartside and back if we make good time and leave you guys to continue on without me.

Hi Paul, hope you had a great Christmas.

We already have guests for lunch that day otherwise would have joined you, in the Macan though, so wouldn't be quite the same.

Have a Happy New Year and will see you soon.

Drive safe

John & Gillian

Busy time of year for many so sorry if you can't make it - looking forward to getting out though so there's 2 so far 😀 👍

Anyone else fancy joining us?

Hi Paul,

Barbara and I would love to join you. We're driving from Rothbury, so we might be a bit after 9a.m. Looking forward to a good drive the route sounds interesting.

Morning Paul,

I think I can make it for 9.30 if that's okay, however I will only have a few hours as I have other arrangements looking forward to see you soon.

Jonathan

Hi Paul,

I am sorry mate put I am going to have to pull out of this. We are still all suffering from the flu bug that is going around. Even my co-piolet has spent most of the day in bed.

I hope you all enjoy the run. Hopefully we see you for the knees up at the weekend.

Gary, Michele and Emma.

Just been out for an exploratory run on my back lanes. . .

Run still on but we'll be taking things carefully and on a changed route.

Just to confirm - run still on.

Paul

Great day despite the low temperature. . . Wonderful that folk turned out for the run and brilliant that we made it over Hartside to Melmerby and back.

A great start to the new season - thanks to all 👍

Great morning drive, its was good to see everyone and I was thankful for the slow white van and the bikes! Thanks for organising the day.

Thanks for organising Paul, and thanks for not sending me home for turning up in a fridge!
