My wifes Cayenne S Diesel 4.2 V8 with 39K miles Type / model year 92AAQ1/2014 went for an MOT.
Should this be brake tested for efficiency on the rollers being 4 x 4.

The transmission type is 8-speed Tiptronic S inclusive Auto Start Stop function

Straight after the MOT, it is developed at pulling away (low speed) a thud/wobble from the front passenger side wheel and a local garage said it might be a transfer box issue and questioned about the MOT testing using the brake efficiency roller test. The mechanic suggested it shouldn't be tested on it.

I have read there is a recall and issues with some Cayennes and there is some warranty changes with the statement "on certain model year Porsche Cayenne and Macan vehicles, the transfer case long term durability may be below Porsche’s high-quality standards." and movement on the following warranty:-
Model Year 2011 Through Model Year 2014 – Warranty Extended to 10 Years With Unlimited Mileage

Does anyone have information about:-
  • MOT test - should it be brake tested on the rollers?
  • Does anyone have symptoms the same?
    • Was this fixed under warranty?
    • Does anyone have info on warranty?
