911 / 930 specialist in Market Harborough area

Can anyone recommend a 1980s air cooled Porsche specialist in the Market Harborough area? I’ve got a 930 Register member who thinks he may have been ill advised by a non Porsche specialist when it came to checking oil levels on his 930, and he is now extremely concerned as his oil level warning light doesn’t appear to function at all!
Failing a local specialist, is there anyone in that area with a similar age 911 or 930 with a properly functioning set of warning lights and gauges who could pay a visit and offer moral support! The real issue is that the owner is not sure whether he has a malfunctioning oil warning light or very low / no oil, and is rightly horrified at the possibility of running the engine with zero oil pressure.

Hi John,

I'm now a former member but can't speak highly enough of Tony Whitcombe at Dove House in Rushden.
Give him a call or email: tony@dovehousecars.com

Not sure if the owner is interested but would be happy to do a telephone/video call to walk through gauge/light operation and oil level checking.

Thanks to both the above….as it stands at present, I believe that the owner will be talking with Tony at Dove House, but the offer of a video call talk through is really appreciated
