997.1 C4S Rear child seat

Hi All,

I'm looking for a current car seat to fit in the rear of my gen 1 997 for my 1yr old. Quite a few posts about the topic on various forums but they all seem to be for seat models that are no longer made.
Researched the ISOFIX mod to allow front seat fitment but this would mean swapping my existing Recaro ISOFIX child seat over from the 'other' car which is undesirable.

If anybody has any recommendations I would be very interested to hear them.

Thanks!

The only consideration SWMBO had when I bought my 997.1 C2S was the fitment of a rear child seat. There was a list floating on one of the forums that have full breakdown of seats that fitted in the rear, but about 2/3 were discontinued or no longer available when I checked middle of 2023. In the end, I purchased a Britax Romer Evolva 123 - not fitted it yet, but was told (with pictures to back it up) by numerous people it works fine if you remove one of the rear seat backs and base.
