Climate Control - cold air (718)

Maybe there’s a problem with the cabin temperature sensor Mike? A diagnostic check should be able to confirm if that’s your problem or if something else is amiss with the HVAC system.

Despite trying all sorts of combinations, the vents on the top of the dash are often very cold, even when the A/C is on and set at 24 deg !!! Its Dual Climate Control and the same on both sides. I also get cold air quite often in the footwell.

Any thoughts/do I have a problem somewhere ? (and do you have a favoured heating set up .....)
 
There is a known software glitch with the ac on the 4.0 But it’s a case of it blowing warm air not cold. The fix for me was turn off the ac completely, then press and hold the pcm volume button for 10 seconds, release and the pcm reboots. Never had a problem after that.
