Autoglym/GTECHNIQ

Hi,
I’m shortly expecting delivery of my new Coupe S Platinum Edition in metallic black.
The dealer has quoted me £599 for Autoglym Lifeshine or £999 for GTECHNIQ platinum ceramic coating.
I’ve always declined this on previous cars but this is my first new Porsche so not sure if I should be considering it.
Any thoughts/experiences appreciated

IMO GTECHNIQ everytime .. will last the 5 years if you wash with care and top up with their detailer spray every so often, never been a fan of any Autoglym solution

Used GTECHNIQ on my 993 Targa. There are lots of great products out there these days. Personally I would go to a specialists and get the job done rather through the dealer

Go to specialist ..if you post up where you are in country you will get recommendations .

Don’t let the dealership do it. Sort out your own detailer to get it done and go with either G-Techniq or Gyeon ceramic coatings as they are probably the best ones.

Local dealership has done all three of my used white Caymans with g-techniq, happy with them all even though one had to be `redone` after ~ eighteen months
