Hi all

Looking to see if anyone has a spare original 911SC red fuel pump relay they may part with.

Have diagnosed annoying start issue to my relay being intermittent - have removed and placed strap between 30 and 87a to prove. Looking for spare to test and even open up and refurbish contacts if necessary.

Alternatively, I did buy a new one from Design 911 couple of years ago but Chinese made and car ran poorly with it - found contacts were at 4-5ohms and returned it! Anyone similar experience or suggestion for sourcing?

I'm in Reading and obviously willing to pay plus postage

Best regards
Neil

Even the Porsche ones are made in China, was it Genuine or Aftermarket? I think you were just unlucky, they are normally pretty reliable when new.

Hi
I have a red relay email me, made in Germany.
The made in China ones are ok.

Hi T911UK

I did choose the OEM version (as opposed to cheaper alternative) when ordering from the supplier.

They did say I'd get the same unit if ordering from porsche.

Car fired up on it, but ran awful - sure I measured about 10-20 ohms across the normally closed contacts (engine running). Putting old one back it ran perfectly straight away. That was 2 years ago - now getting more unreliable in starting
